PROJECTS 360 Ealing Road, Alperton

I-MEX were appointed by Higgins Construction PLC to deliver the full mechanical and electrical services package for a mixed-use residential development.

The development was designed to provide high-quality residential accommodation supported by modern amenities, sustainable energy solutions, and community-focused external spaces. The scheme also incorporated landscaped public areas and dedicated children’s play facilities, contributing to the creation of an attractive and functional living environment.

The development was designed to provide high-quality residential accommodation supported by modern amenities, sustainable energy solutions, and community-focused external spaces. The scheme also incorporated landscaped public areas and dedicated children’s play facilities, contributing to the creation of an attractive and functional living environment.

Scope of works

Working in close partnership with Higgins Construction and the wider design team, I-MEX supplied all labour, plant, and materials to complete the full mechanical and electrical installation across the development.

Our scope included:

  • Full mechanical and electrical services installations
  • Plumbing and sanitary ware installations to all residential units
  • Installation of rooftop photovoltaic (PV) panels to support renewable energy generation
  • Electrical and mechanical infrastructure for commercial and workshop spaces
  • Basement plant room installations
  • Installation of a new electrical substation
  • Services coordination within the undercroft parking area comprising 57 car spaces

The project required detailed coordination across residential, commercial, and shared infrastructure areas to ensure efficient integration of all building services.

Design and Consultation

The development involved careful coordination of building services within constrained basement and undercroft environments, ensuring accessibility, maintainability, and compliance with all relevant regulations.

Particular attention was given to integrating the rooftop PV installation and electrical infrastructure within the wider energy strategy of the scheme, supporting long-term sustainability and operational efficiency.

External Works & Public Realm

In addition to the core building services, the wider development included associated landscaping and drainage works centred around a landscaped communal courtyard.

The inclusion of dedicated children’s play areas and well-designed external spaces helped create a safe, welcoming, and community-focused environment for residents.

Outcome

The project was successfully completed in March 2019, delivering a high-quality residential and mixed-use development that met the client’s technical, sustainability, and programme requirements.
