Scope of works

Working closely with the main contractor and design team, I-MEX provided all labour, plant, and materials to complete the mechanical and electrical installation across the scheme. Our scope included:

  • Full mechanical and electrical services installations
  • Plumbing and sanitary ware installations to all residential units
  • Installation of rooftop photovoltaic (PV) panels to support on-site renewable energy generation
  • Electrical infrastructure to support commercial and workshop spaces

The development also included a basement plant room, a new electrical substation, and 57 car parking spaces located within an undercroft at ground floor level, all of which required careful coordination of services within confined and complex spaces.

Design and Consultation

The project required close collaboration with NLG Associates (M&E Consultant) and RPS Architects to ensure that the building services design aligned with the architectural intent, space constraints, and sustainability objectives of the scheme.

Particular attention was given to coordinating services within the basement and undercroft areas, ensuring safe access, maintainability, and compliance with all relevant standards and regulations. The project required close collaboration with NLG Associates (M&E Consultant) and RPS Architects to ensure that the building services design aligned with the architectural intent, space constraints, and sustainability objectives of the scheme.

External Works & Public Realm

In addition to the building services installations, the overall scheme incorporated associated landscaping and drainage works, centred around a landscaped central courtyard.

This area included a dedicated children’s play space, contributing to the creation of a safe, attractive, and community-focused environment for residents.

Outcome

The project was successfully completed in March 2019, delivering a high-quality residential and mixed-use development that met the client’s technical, sustainability, and programme requirements.
